A hotel, casino and convention resort of around 1,200 rooms on a 25-hectare coastal site at Bafra, organised around a central pool landscape between the hotel wings and the sea.
The masterplan puts the convention centre and casino towards the road on the west, the hotel lobby at the centre with two curved room wings embracing the pools, and the villa rows along the eastern edge. An amphitheatre and an aquapark take the north-east corner; a beach with piers carries the resort out to the water.
Three masterplan variants were tested against the site’s setback envelopes and the sloping ground, together with a long section from the hotel blocks to the sea. The design is in development.
