A five-unit apartment building on a corner plot in Kepez, Antalya, designed and built by Mercan Construction.
A basement, two residential floors and a roof floor under a shingle roof, with a covered entrance from the road and parking at the side. Each floor holds two apartments around a single stair and lift; the roof floor takes one larger unit with terraces. The plan is compact and conventional by intent — this was a building to be built, sold and lived in.
Designing for one’s own construction company means every drawing is tested against cost and buildability before it reaches the site. The building was completed in 2022 and is fully occupied.
